UCF TRiO Center
TRiO is a federally funded program that serves students who are either first-generation, low-income, and/or have a disability. The program is split between three departments: Upward Bound, Talent Search, and Student Support Services. At UCF TRiO Student Support Services, I was responsible for building up the social media presence for the two collegiate programs: PRIME STEM and Project BEST. This consisted of posting new content regularly, updating their website (which you can see by clicking on the link above), and collaborating with other organizations. This internship taught me a lot about analytic research, ways of reaching out to your target audience, and overall communication skills both within and outside of the department.

Grad School Checklist Series
This series was one of the last projects I was part of. At the beginning of my internship, I had to create SMART goals that included the specifics of each phase I was going to enact during my employment. One of the last goals I had was to collaborate with as many UCF groups and organizations as to not only promote our program but have some of the TRiO scholars know of other resources on campus. One of the organizations I had the pleasure to work with is the Academic Advancement Programs. Like TRiO, they serve underrepresented, low-income, and/or first-generation college students. The biggest difference is that they focus more on connecting students to graduate school resources and opportunities, which include creating a Grad School Checklist. This checklist is meant to be used as a blueprint for undergraduates to get into graduate school and Raquel Aurora Toro-Espinal, Jimmie Baker, and I decided to make a video series that we would post on each other's social media platforms. The process was not only informative but was a lot of fun to create and was easily one of my favorite marketing projects during my internship. Below are all of the videos, in order, that I helped in recording, editing, and sharing on each of our platforms.

Commercials
This was another fun project that was tailored for each collegiate program. The idea was to replicate the odd nature of commercials like Allstate Insurance "Mayhem" or Starburst's "The Streets". Over time, much of the content I create would have some comedic aspect to catch the audience's attention. This project series was just a way to do that, while still remaining informative. Below lists some of my favorites.
Student Interviews
The first SMART goal and actually the first project I wanted to tackle within my internship is figuring out what exactly our target audience wanted and seeing how many students knew of TRiO. The student interviews were taken place in a pavilion close to our office (Howard Phillips Hall). All the students were selected randomly from whoever was nearby. The information taken from this project was used to tailor the rest of my internship on what areas of marketing I needed to complete. Below are two versions of the interviews (one vertical for TikTok & Instagram and the other horizontal for YouTube).
